Updating from 0.1.3 or older? That older app can only bring you to this page. Download once, replace Private Reel.app in Applications, and open it. Future updates install inside the app.

Set up once

From download to gallery

Your folder choices, peer identity, Keep history, and updates stay with the installed app.

    Move it to Applications

    Unzip the download, move Private Reel.app to Applications, and open it.

  2. 2
    Finish the private network

    The app checks Tailscale, guides installation or sign-in, and configures the private address it needs.

  3. 3
    Choose folders and start

    Select the media and Cooking folders, choose Install & Start, then open the gallery.
